The Challenge: 11M

March 11, 2004. Madrid wakes up to the biggest terrorist attack in Europe’s history: three days before the general elections, ten bombs explode on four trains.

The race for Moncloa becomes a fierce political battle in which the inception of the attack takes center stage.

The 11M terrorists are still free and are in possession of more explosives. There are indications that they intend to commit muder-suicide. For the police forces, it's a race against time to stop them.

The 11M trial has the whole country gripped in suspense. Not all of those responsible are present at trial. Some died in the attacks, and others have yet to be discovered.
