The Hurricane Highway, Season 1

In this pilot episode, we begin our journey along the Hurricane Highway with a look back at Mark's childhood, his early hurricane experiences and interviews with those who influenced Mark's decision to set out to study the impacts of hurricanes on society.

As season one of The Hurricane Highway continues, we take a look at the bridge between seasons. After the historic 2018 season that gave us Florence and Michael, Mark faces a life-changing event as the year 2018 comes to a close. We begin 2019 with renewed optimism for the future; ultimately developing the "next play" and being ready for what is likely to be a busy 2019 Atlantic hurricane season.
