Zombie Loan

With her glasses off, Michiru Kita looks at the world a little differently. She sees the mark of death on people's necks--the guiding line for the Grim Reaper's scythe, in a literal way. So what does it mean when two boys at her school show up with solid black rings on their necks?

Chika and Shito explain their circumstances, and show just what it means to take out a "Zombie Loan"! Then, convincing Michiru to assist them, they lay a trap for the outlaw zombie that's been stalking the girls of their school.

After nearly dying, Michiru makes some life changes. She's got a fresh start on life, except then Chika reveals the real reason she's not dead. They might've taken on more debt to save her life, but she'll work to help them pay off that loan!

Circumstances surrounding a brutal series of murders lead Chika and Shito to conclude there's an outlaw zombie behind it. Only problem is, they can't figure out how to track the murderer-zombie down. Lucky, that's where Chika's old friend Shiba comes in.

Chasing the murderer known as the Butterfly is no easy task. But some disturbing talk amongst the Butterfly's followers leaves Michiru wondering if there isn't more going on than they realize.

Shito and Chika confront the true Butterfly, and the identity of that killer leaves Chika shaken. In the aftermath of the fight, the gang reflects on the nature of being a zombie, and of being dead.

In order to raise morale, the chief sponsors a company trip out into the boonies. Out in the dark wilderness, however, something lurks. Could it be another zombie, or is something else at work here?

Shito storms out to confront a mysterious person who seems to know all about his past, while Chika's father and little sister take the dorm by storm! Meanwhile, a new sinister threat looms.

Captured by an unknown party, Shito is in deep trouble. And the problem doesn't end there--Shito is somehow involved with the Xu Fu Mafia, and if they find him first, they'll almost certainly take him away from Z-Loan. Chika, meanwhile, is paralyzed with uncertainty... who is Shito, really?

In order to find Shito, the gang meets with a Grim Reaper. Michiru, Chika, and Soutetsu rush to rescue the "princess" from an abandoned hospital, but golems of flesh block their way.

After saving Shito, there's only one thing left to do: clean up the mess. But the final golem, Phalanx, is now active, and defeating it won't be an easy task!

Bekkou attends a meeting of the Ferrymen at the World Fate Organization. After, a newly formed zombie hunting team, A-Loan, challenges Z-Loan to a hunting match!

The competition between A-Loan and Z-Loan seems to be over before it's even begun, with A-Loan possessing better skills than their senior zombie hunters. But Z-Loan isn't out of the game yet!
