Citizen Architect profiles the late architect and MacArthur Foundation "genius" Samuel Mockbee, founder of the radical design/build program known as the Rural Studio. Guided by passionate, frank interviews with Mockbee, his peers and those he has influenced, the film reveals Mockbee's efforts to engage architecture in issues of poverty, race, education and good citizenship.
