Boruto - Naruto Next Generations

Boruto annonce à ses camarades qu'il ne se présentera pas à l'examen de sélection des moyenne-classe. Désemparée par la défection de son coéquipier si peu de temps avant l'épreuve, Sarada tente de le faire revenir sur sa décision. Mais c'est Mitsuki qui semble déceler les vraies motivations de son soleil.

À l'approche de l'examen de sélection des moyenne-classe, Boruto demande à Sasuke, son nouveau maître, de lui révéler le point faible de son père. En haut lieu, Naruto, Shikamaru et Kakashi comprennent que la récente activité des Zetsu blancs annonce l'imminence d'un danger.

L’examen de sélection des moyenne-classe réunit à Konoha des équipes venues des cinq grands villages. À l’occasion de cet événement, Boruto s'est juré d'en mettre plein la vue à son père. En cas de besoin, il a même caché dans sa manche l'appareil ninja que Katasuke a inventé.

Le derniers qualifiés s’apprêtent à disputer la troisième épreuve de sélection. Dans ce tournoi individuel, les candidats auront peut-être enfin l’occasion de s’affronter entre coéquipiers. Une motivation supplémentaire pour Boruto, qui débute face à Yurui, un aspirant de Kumo.

Lors de la 3e épreuve de sélection, Chôchô se heurte aux gigantesques poings en limaille de fer de Shinki, le candidat de Suna. Sous le regard à la fois inquiet et enflammé de ses parents, la jeune Akimichi pourra-t-elle rejoindre Boruto et Shikadai en demi-finale ?

Au début de la finale de la troisième épreuve, Sarada et Boruto décident de faire cause commune face au redoutable Shinki. Toujours aussi arrogant, le fils adoptif de Gaara manipule à loisir sa limaille de fer, aussi bien pour se défendre que pour attaquer.

Naruto a été enlevé par les Ôtsutsuki, après avoir encaissé tout seul leur dernière attaque. L'immense explosion a fait des blessés, mais en se sacrifiant, le Hokage a évité un bilan bien plus lourd. Boruto, qui s'est réveillé à l'hôpital, s'en veut d'avoir déçu son père en trichant lors de l'examen.

Après avoir dévoré son propre camarade pour s’approprier sa force, Momoshiki met à terre les quatre Kage qui sont venus libérer Naruto. La puissance de Kurama, alliée à celle de Susanô, fait momentanément vaciller ce redoutable ennemi mais, pour donner le coup décisif, Sasuke compte sur Boruto.

Toujours amincie par son mode Papillon, Chôchô se prépare fébrilement à sa scène de baiser avec son idole Tomaru. Pendant ce temps, Konoha-Maru et Moegi tentent de retrouver la trace de l’individu qui a attaqué le studio de tournage.
