84-year-old matriarch Emilia has been invited to her niece’s wedding in the rural town where she was born. And so she convinces her entire family—all 12 of them—to travel from Buenos Aires to the Brazilian border, crammed in a decrepit camper van. Along the way, they run into all sorts of problems.
