A young lad, Speed Jr., is starting his first year at an elite racing academy to become the best driver since Speed Racer Sr. and his brother, X, who are known for their skills and abilities on the track. Speed Sr, the father of the two, disappears for many years when he tries to create a gasless engine fearing that his enemies would harm his family. Will he return from his trip?
