Sharks evolved over 400 million years ago with over 470 species in every ocean in the world. There are many types of sharks: the deep-sea lantern, hammerhead and the great whale shark which can grow to 20 feet in length. Acute hearing and able to travel hundreds of miles for prey, they are indeed 'The Mightiest Predator of the Sea'.
