Having been demoted to a beat cop, Katarzyna Zawieja investigates a spate of drug overdoses while balancing an increasingly chaotic home life.

After the murder of a high-school teacher reveals a connection to the local drug trade, Zawieja and Trepa investigate possible leads.

After a break-in at Zawieja's home, tensions with Trepa flare, leading to a showdown at the station. Later, Trepa witnesses the start of a war between Nowak and Molski's men, while Zawieja attempts to meet with Kamil.

While protesters take to the streets, Zawieja looks to connect the drug trade to Molski – but learns a shocking truth about herself instead. As Trepa works on hacking into a key piece of evidence, Nowak seeks leverage over Madejski and Kamińska.

Armed with new findings but unaware that Zawieja is missing, Trepa is dispatched to investigate a large deal involving Nowak. Later, Madejski faces a choice, while Hania provides key intel about her mother's possible whereabouts.

In a fight to stop their ship from leaving the port, Zawieja finally faces off against Molski and Lanski. Then, after corruption on the force comes to light, Trepa learns a surprising truth, and Zawieja awaits news concerning her status as detective.
