Hell's Kitchen (U.S.)

An all new set of contestants try to impress Chef Gordon Ramsay with their culinary skills in order to win the coveted position of head chef at New York City's BLT Steak restaurant.

The remaining chefs try to rebound from their disastrous first dinner service. Their challenge this episode: preparing New York steak strips, rib eyes, filets and burgers. The losers must clean the grills and butcher more beef while the winners sip champagne in Palm Springs.

The remaining contestants receive a wakeup call from clowns - Chef Ramsay's way of saying that they perform like clowns. In this episode, they must prepare pasta and quesadillas for fifty kids, and panini sandwiches for their moms. The winners spend the evening at Medieval Times in Buena Park, California while the losers prepare a playground for a family night dinner service.

Hell's Kitchen goes to the birds when Chef Ramsay gives them a chicken challenge that includes catching live fowls. The winners spend a day riding in go-karts while the losers prepare chickens for the next service.

The remaining chefs get a demonstration in dessert preparation using sound waves and liquid nitrogen, then must steam, poach or boil protein-based dishes. The winners spend the day at a Beverly Hills spa while the losers clean the Hell's Kitchen foundation.

The aspiring chefs prepare Hawaiian luau dishes for the Culver City High School Class of 1991's twentieth reunion. The winners spend the day on a yacht while the losers transform Hell's Kitchen to look Hawaiian.

The chefs prepare five dishes that must include at least one type of beer. The winners attend the Long Beach Grand Prix IndyCar race while the losers unload kegs of beer and bags of ice at Hell's Kitchen.

The ten budding chefs prepare comfort foods, with Wolfgang Puck judging them. The winners attend a show at L.A.'s Laugh Factory and take a ride in a convertible along Sunset Boulevard; the losers have to clean the dorms.

The contestants need to be at their sweetest when Chef Ramsay gives them a dessert challenge. The winning team flies to Sin City and meet Holly Madison while the losers prep the kitchen for Hell's Kitchen's "Date Night," which includes a raw bar.

The remaining chefs are put to a blind taste test. The winners ride horses in the Hollywood Hills while the losers peel grapes.

The seven remaining competitors visit New York City, where they tour BLT Steak and sample the Big Apple's cornucopia of ethnic cuisine. When they return to Hell's Kitchen, their challenge is to prepare ethnic dishes themselves. The winners spend a day at the beach while the losers prepare for the dinner service.

The teams must prepare three dishes. The catch? One must be made in thirty minutes, one in twenty and the last in only ten minutes. The winners go shopping while the losers set up the dining room for the next dinner service.

For the first time in "Hell's Kitchen" history, chefs return from prior seasons to compete with the remaining competitors.

In this episode's challenge, each chef must create something special out of Alaskan salmon. The winner gets a helicopter ride and lunch at Los Angeles' Water Grill. The losers prep salmon for the dinner service.

The final four chefs eat a dish prepared by Chef Ramsay. For their challenge, they must recreate it in 35 minutes. The winner goes to a baseball game while the losers move furniture out of the Hell's Kitchen dorms.

While wearing new white dinner jackets, the final contestants prepare a menu consisting of four appetizers, four entrées and three desserts.
