The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders

After running away from her adoptive family, young Moll Flanders is taken in by the Mayor of Colchester and raised alongside his two sons - but her relationship with the eldest is decidedly more than fraternal.

Moll Flanders heads for Chatham after her third husband leaves her, where she marries young sea captain Lemuel Golightly and sets sail for Virginia to meet his mother (Diana Rigg, "Game of Thrones").

Moll is head over heels for her fifth husband, Jemmy (Daniel Craig), but she is soon to learn the handsome aristocrat harbors a dark secret.

Fully embracing a life of crime, Moll and her new partner Lucy Driver are eventually tracked down and locked up in Newgate Prison. Facing execution in the place of her birth, it seems like the road has come to a bitter end.
