Operation Satan(Russian Audio)

Cherkasov, who was dismissed from the MUR, works as an ordinary district police officer. The body of a girl without documents is found. Ivan Petrovich investigates a trail that will hopefully lead to the criminals. The US Embassy is trying to cover the tracks of its agent and works with a new one. The new agent appears in the apartment of the laboratory assistant Olga, who works in the secret plan

The secret plant is concerned with the disappearance of a young scientist. Cherkasov, meanwhile, comes to the MUR in the hope of establishing the identity of the victim: the deceased worker from the secret plant. Olga has no doubt that the Fisherman is her brother, and he stays with her. Cherkasov goes to the victim's apartment and, puts himself in mortal danger, because he is not alone in there.

Rybak takes the earrings from Valeria's apartment and, after killing the prostitute at the train station, leaves them at the scene of the crime. The former boss asks Cherkasov to return to the department. Ivan Petrovich begins work at the MCP. The KGB keeps tabs on embassy employee Laura Cooper, but she keeps getting away from surveillance. The Americans receive data on the Satan missile.

The Americans are happy with the information, but the Soviet nuclear physicists are preparing something new. The department investigates the death of a railway station prostitute. Cherkasov questions Valeria's fiancé, who recognises her earrings. The conductor Gorokhov, the landlord of the apartment she rented, is found with currency. Laura Cooper outsmarts the KGB again and meets with Rybak.

It turns out that the prostitute was poisoned with a poison that is used in certain circles. The trail leads to secret agents. Gorokhov is caught red-handed, Sophia offers him a deal. Savely is released from prison and comes to Olga. Slavka is hospitalised, he needs specialised care. Cherkasov manages to meet with Professor Mednikov.

Rybak, as promised to Olga, takes Savely to his son's grave. Sonya traces the parcels through Gorokhov. Cherkasov cannot sort out his family problems. Mednikov's stepdaughter learns that she is not allowed to go to France because of the professor's secret work. The results of Sonia's operation lead to the "mailbox". The scientist Desnitsky is suspected of murder.

Savely's wife searches for her husband, Rybak is not ready to be exposed and suggests to Olga that they run away. Cherkasov discovers blood in the garage next to where Valeria was killed. Operation Satan comes to an end, the Americans transfer the agents to the reserve, and Laura again escapes surveillance. Desnitsky is arrested - the case is taken to the KGB - he is accused of espionage.

At the crime scene, Cherkasov learns that Olga left with her brother. Forensics confirms that the blood in the garage is Lera's. Cherkasov's group surrounds the house where Rybak is hiding. Andropov does not believe in Desnitsky's guilt and demands to find the real enemy, who operates in the "mailbox". There is exactly one day to expose the spy...
