Thomas & Friends Classic

Cranky, a new crane, is working at the docks. From on high, he thinks Thomas and Percy look like bugs. When a devastating storm hits, Cranky's opinion of the small engines changes. But his bugging them will never stop! When three trucks arrive at the docks, the engines are shocked. Instead of being really useful, these trucks turn out to be grim, smashed, and broken!

Gordon wants a better view at the new station. After receiving repairs, Gordon goes to the opening celebration of the new station. On his way something jams and Gordon accidentally gets the panoramic view he's always wanted. Sir Topham Hatt has agreed to be spic and span and on time for Lady Hatt's birthday party. Dressed in his new suit, disaster strikes as he tries to get to the party on time.

James thinks he's an important engine. He also thinks if he came upon a tree, he could push it out of the way. When an old tree is blown on the tracks, James finds trouble. With gremlins about, things keep going wrong for Gordon when a very important passenger visits Sodor.

George the steamroller thinks rails should be ripped out and replaced with roads. He's very rude to the engines. When he nearly causes an accident with Gordon, Sir Topham Hatt gives George a rude awakening. Percy is excited for the Best Dressed Station contest. He's bringing flowers and decorations to Maithwaite Station. But when a stray ram is on the line, it's Percy who goes Baa!

Poor Percy's feels he's been put upon at work. At the mineshaft, Percy charges at the freight cars too fast. They swerve out of control and into disaster. Percy is now put upon to save the day! Harold saves the day when he comes to Toby's rescue. When the dam breaks, Toby's bridge washes away and he floats down the river.

Edward has Henry running scared when he tells him stories of the ghosts in the mists. On a foggy night at the viaduct, Henry gets spooked when he sees a ghostly figure coming towards him. Bill and Ben have a scare when a new diesel is brought to help them out. The new diesel has teething troubles and that causes trouble for Bill and Ben.

Stepney needs a change and goes to help Toby and Mavis in the Quarry. When the fog rolls in on his way home, Stepney gets quite a scare when he almost ends up as scrap. After exploring with Sir Topham Hatt and his grandchildren at the castle and mine, Toby has a scare when Thomas tells him of the Old Warrior ghost. That night, Toby makes his remarkable discovery!

Thomas has a fishy time making a delivery to Henry. When he tries to warn him about the danger on the tracks, Henry doesn't listen. When fog rolls in, Henry hits the dangerous track and ends up in deep water with a fish tale to tell.

The children ask Thomas for help when their playground closed, but he gets distracted by rumors that Harold is going to replace the engines.

Percy is sent to get a good luck package for Mrs. Kyndley whose daughter is getting married. He needs to find something old, new, borrowed, and blue before the wedding starts. Meanwhile, Sir Topham Hatt must leave his family on holiday to join the search party for Tiger Moth. When he finally rejoins his family on a boat, they quickly learn that it's railway engines that are really useful.

Percy gets bored working in the coalmines. He wants some excitement. When a coupling to his freight cars breaks, Percy's exciting wish comes true...and the chase is on! James is upset that he has to deal with freight cars. Toby explains he'd feel better if he thought about someone else. When James cheers up Mrs. Kyndley by taking her on a special ride to the fairground, he does feel better.

Toad always goes backwards. He'd like to go forward for a change. When the freight cars decide to teach him a lesson, Toad's wish is granted and quickly realizes that he prefers being busy going backwards. After Duncan teases Peter Sam about crashing the freight cars, Rusty tells Duncan a ghost story. When Duncan's driver plays a trick on him that night, Duncan gets spooked!

Rusty has some great stories. Like telling Thomas about the worst winter on Sodor where Skarloey was working at the mines when an avalanche covered him in snow. Or thinking the mysterious boulder in the mountains is watching him. But when the boulder is shaken loose, Rusty is chased back into reality.
