Roy Rogers

Gene Autry is the sheriff of a small western town, crooning his way into the heart of Eleanor (Irene Manning), a singer from Chicago who has witnessed a murder! Look for a young Roy Rodgers as one of the Sons of the Pioneers.

The real Billy the Kid is killed in the opening scenes by the local Sheriff. However, a young cowboy (Rogers) shows up the next day, and is mistaken for the famous criminal, due to a close resemblance. Rogers decides to become Billy the Kid in order to help the homesteaders of Lincoln County restore law and order.

Roy is elected to Congress to bring the misery of the "dustbowl" of the 1930s to the attention of Washington politicians.

Roy Rogers has been sent to bring in Jesse James. After Wyatt's bank is robbed and Jesse is blamed, Roy is able to work himself into Jesse's gang to find recover the money.

Roy is a newspaper reporter. He goes to Cheyenne to cover the activities of supposed bad guy Arapahoe Brown. Roy, of course, discovers who the real bad guy is.

Heldorado is an annual parade celebrating Las Vegas as a frontier town. Roy is captain of the guards at Boulder Dam. He helps celebrate the town's anniversary while capturing racketeers involved with the local casinos.

A deputy sets out to prove that a respected judge, who had once been a criminal, is being framed for crimes committed by a crooked saloon owner.

During World War II, Government warehouses are being blown up. Roy and his friends go undercover to stop the saboteurs.

Roy is accused of murder when his boss plants a gun on him.

A gang, headed by evil Stephanie Bachelor, is slaughtering game out of season. Roy finds the freezer where the meat is kept, but baddie Roy Barcroft finds him there. A famous fight takes place in the freezer. Roy, of course, wins it.

Bad guy Craig Allen, gambler and town boss, tries to take a gold mine inherited by innocent Chip Williams on her seventeenth birthday. Roy and his pal 'Teddy' Bear ride to help the girl and her cousin.

Rival rodeos are operated by good guy Gabby and bad guy Richard Powers. Dale is trying to choose between them, aided ultimately by Roy and the Sons of the Pioneers (who are radio singers).

Dale Evans inherits a circus, but her dead father's parner (Withers) is trying to steal it away from her. Roy and Bob call on some of the most famous western movie stars of the day, and their famous horses, to come to the circus and put on a celebrity circus show.

Betty Richard's freight plane disappears, along with its pilot and a valuable shipment of gold. Desperadoes are determined to force Betty into bankruptcy and take over her airline. With the help of airplane mechanic Cookie and the Sons of the Pioneers, lawman Roy figures out what the thugs are up to and sets some dangerous traps of his own.

Cookie and Roy's partners put $20,000 into the Vanderpools silver mining business only to find that the mine is worthless and Vanderpool is bankrupt. Carol comes out to look for silver to save the company, but does not know that their engineer, is crooked. But only Old Ed knows where the mother lode is located.

Roy edits a small town newspaper. A rancher is murdered, and his fortune is inherited by a young boy. Editor Roy, with the assistance of big city reporter Dale, brings the killers to justice.

Gabby refuses to breed his horse the Golden Sovereign with Roy's. When the Sovereign and Roy's horse escape, Skoville shoots the Sovereign by mistake but Roy is blamed and jailed. A year later Roy returns with Trigger, the son of the Sovereign. When Skoville slips and reveals he was present when the horse was shot, Roy sees a chance to clear his name.

Roy Rogers tries to prevent a range war between cattlemen and sheepherders.

Gabby's ranch for wayward boys is in financial trouble. One of his boys, Chip is hiding stolen money sent by his father the outlaw leader King Blaine. After Blaine is killed, Chip decides to pay off Gabby's debt with this money, but trouble arises when the remaining gang members arrive looking for the loot.

A man of no worth brags to his daughter back East that he is rich and owns a big ranch. When she decides to pay a visit to her father, Roy and his buddies agree to pretend that the poor man is the owner of the ranch.

Villains have stolen a jeweled crest containing a map which shows the location of a uranium deposit. With the help of Gabby and Dale and a posse of Indians, Roy recovers the crest.

The Vegas family own an oil rich ranch and Calhoun is after the mineral rights. He gets Carlos Vega to run up huge gambling debts, and when Carlos' sister arrives, Calhoun tries to have her killed. Roy ultimately finds a clue that leads him to Calhoun's offshore gambling ship.

Roy Rogers meets up with a western writer who he despises because he resents her writing style. But, together they team up to break a silver smuggling gang across the Mexican border. Meanwhile, one of Roy's friends is being hunted by Scotland Yard, but not for the reasons they suspect.

With a $10,000 note Roy co-signed for the Pioneers due, he plans to get the money from the reward for the capture of the Gypsy. After Roy captures him, he let's him go realizing he is innocent and it's not long before the real outlaws reveal themselves.
