Zombie Hunters: City of the Dead

(Season 1, Ep. 1) In the pilot episode, we come face-to-face with the horror that the government and the media have been trying to hide: that a living dead plague is sweeping across the East Coast of the United States. A rag-tag group of undead hunters must bravely venture into the streets of New York to save as many people as possible ... while saving themselves and finding their loved ones.

Season 1, Ep. 2: Two days after the events in Episode One, Billy and Bates are back on patrol, trying to avoid the authorities while keeping their neighborhood safe. During an encounter with a woman near a local park, who has lost her daughter. The Zombie Hunters team up to investigate the park, find the girl and clear it of the hungry undead waiting in the shadows.

Season 1, Ep. 3: A few weeks have passed and now the Zombie Hunters are running low on weapons and ammunition. John sets out to make a deal with local underworld gun dealers, while Bates turns to a disgraced postal carrier for his stash of weapons. Meanwhile, the living dead problem continues to escalate, and finds its way into St. John's Hospital, where undead chaos is about to break loose.

Season 1, Ep. 4: Billy and Bates' long-time acquaintance, Joey Kincaid, is released from prison and asks to join their zombie squad. Billy reluctantly agrees, and the three of them make a plan to buy from the gun dealers John met recently. Unfortunately, the dealers turn out to be a local militia group and things go bad quickly, and now the three have to survive both the living and the undead.

Season 1, Ep. 5: After Joey is wounded in the initial confrontation with the militia, Billy and Bates get him to a makeshift infirmary, and meet Dr. Kaufman and Carrie. Now they plan a raid on the militia group's compound that will provide them with not just payback, but all the weapons and ammunition they will need to continue cleaning the streets of the undead menace.

Season 1, Ep. 6: The weeks of nightly killings and zombie hunting affect each of the hunters emotionally. Carrie confronts her fears, Bates takes to his new role as a hero, John looks for more answers, and Billy turns to the solace he once found in the church. But the group as a whole is unraveling, and they'll need to keep it together to battle the ever-growing zombie army at their doorstep.

Season 1, Ep. 7: An uneasy alliance with a scientist who claims she has found a "cure" for the zombie plague brings the Zombie Hunters back together in full force. But now, the hunters have befriended a similar band of zombie killers from the Bronx, and the two groups team up to discover the truth about the scientist and her mysterious serum that claims to cure the undead.

Season 1, Ep. 8: A special double episode season finale. The first season culminates in tensions erupting both outside and within the group. The Governor of New York puts martial law into effect, while the government admits that the dead are actually returning to life. The stress between Billy and Bates' comes to a head as the two fight for control of the group, and their own sanity.
