Filmed on a minimalist set, this production of the original stage play combines the imaginative nature of theatre with the emotional detail of cinema. When three German teenagers learn the Nazis have been lying, they become determined to help spread the truth. But when they are arrested, their faith is severely tested and they must decide how much they are willing to sacrifice for their cause.
