After Benoy coerces Trilochan into hiring Sampurna's father as the new Munshi, Sampurna's parents try to cheat and trick Bondita into approving the wrong accounts.

Sampurna's parents fraud and cheating is discovered by Bondita and they are rebuked by Anirudhha. Sampurna, brainwashed by her mother, manipulates Anirudhha into blaming someone else.

A misguided Anirudhha blames Trilochan for manipulating Bondita into falsely accusing Sampurna's parents for fraud. Benoy tells Trilochan to leave the house.

Bondita discovers Sampurna and her parents manipulated Anirudhha with lies and deceit. She confronts Sampurna and decides to expose them. But a life altering change happens to Bondita.

Bondita tries to hide her situation from Anirudhha as per Sampurna's instructions. She writes a letter to her mother asking her to help. Meanwhile, it is revealed how Sampurna and her parents have such a hold over Benoy.

Bondita has nightmares about what her proximity to the men of the family might mean. Meanwhile, Sampurna tears apart Bondita's letter to her mother.

Bondita thinks her "disease" is gone and ventures out of the house as Anirudhha had asked. Sampurna manages to stop her from reaching but manipulates Anirudhha into catching Bondita and misunderstanding her.

Sampurna keeps convincing Bondita that if she leaves her room she is causing harm to all on whom she is casting her shadow. Meanwhile, Anirudhha tries to get Bondita to come outside and play and be normal again.

To protect Anirudhha and the family, Bondita decides to leave home but she turns up at the one place Sampurna and her parents do not want Bondita to go. Will their dirty secret be revealed?

Bondita, under Sampurna's influence, tries to give up the keys to the house, all her jewelry as well as her education. The family members begin misunderstanding Bondita and feel hurt.

Anirudhha tries to understand what is wrong with Bondita and lures her with sweets but in refusing Anirudhha, Bondita accidentally slaps him and Trilochan sees it. He demands Bondita be sent home.

Anirudhha tries to get Bondita to study and give her exams but fails. His attempts to get Bondita's mother home are also thwarted. Finally, Anirudhha makes a discovery which will clear up all his doubts.

Anirudhha, realizing Bondita's condition, explains everything to her. Bondita finally realizes and accepts she has not been cursed. Bondita confronts Sampurna.

Sampurna, confronted by Bondita, apologizes to the entire family for having tried to create a rift within the family members. But she still has a trick up her sleeve.

Trilochan stops Bondita from going to school during her periods but Anirudhha protests against this and says Bondita will go to school.

Saudamini tells Bondita that an ideal husband and wife relationship is where the wife stays in the husband's room. Bondita wants to stay in Anirudhha's room which creates a rift between them as Anirudhha cannot explain to her why he cannot allow her.

Sampurna and Trilochan leave no stone unturned to make preparations for Bondita's first night with Aniruddha. Bondita is decked up and taught what she needs to do.

Trilochan gets Anirudhha intoxicated so that he does not create a fuss about staying together with Bondita. But Trilochan's friend takes advantage of the situation and removes intoxicated Anirudhha from the room and comes close to Bondita.

Anirudhha gets back his senses in time and saves Bondita from the clutches of Thakurmoshai. Bondita explains how women should stand up against the torture inflicted upon them. Anirudhha gives Bondita the first chance to punish Thakurmoshai.

Bondita becomes restless on knowing that her mother is misssing and she wants to go and search for her. But Sumati comes back and says that she had met with an accident and that car was being driven by Anirudhha's father.

Sumati reveals before everyone that Sampurna's parents had tried to kill her by burying her under the mud. For Aniruddha, the picture gets clear and he realises that Sampurna had married his dad only for money and power.

Sampurna instigates Aniruddha by saying that he too is living on the earnings of the family. Aniruddha decides to leave the hosue with Bondita and make a living for himself.

As Anirudhha and Bondita come to stay away from the family, Anirudhha realizes it will be difficult for Bondita to go to the river and take a bath. So he builds a toilet for her in one night.

As Bondita and Anirudhha start their new life, Anirudhha chances across and helps a freedom fighter. Bondita begins to understand and feel love.

As Bondita struggles with her newfound emotions and Anirudhha struggles to earn a living, Manorama and Anirudhha cross paths again and Anirudhha decides to support and help her.
