Kicking off a new series of Ready Steady Cook, host Rylan Clark-Neal unveils a brand-new kitchen and introduces us to two new chefs - award winning Chef Anna Haugh and globe-trotting Chef Mike Reid.

Cooking in the kitchen are best friends Gemma and Lianne. This is a dream come true for the childhood pals who used to watch the show after school. The hours spent coming up with bag contents back then comes in handy today, as they hope to come up with some real treats on a budget of ten pounds.

Competitive cousins Joe and Alex are taking to the kitchen today. Both have experienced sight loss problems. Joe managed to undergo surgery which put a halt to his sight degeneration, but sadly Alex lost his vision completely.

It's a family affair on Ready Steady Cook today as mother and daughter duo Azra and Hannah come to do battle in the kitchen. Paired with our Liverpudlian livewire Chef Ellis Barrie and the always energetic Chef Akis Petretzikis, the kitchen soon livens up.

Today's contestants are nana Jean and her granddaughter Sinead. Sinead's love of cooking came when nana Jean taught her as a little girl. But as she's travelled around the world, her tastes have got more adventurous.

Rylan Clark-Neal welcomes uber competitive friends, former scout leaders Anne and Jenny. Both keen caravaners, the friends still meet up regularly despite living in different towns now.

Cooking in the kitchen today are partners Adele and Mark. Mark's lost over 7 stone in weight so has a new diet and a new interest in healthy cooking. Having previously lived on ready meals, Adele only began cooking from scratch recently so she could help Mark with his weight loss.

On today's show are friends Ola and Rhesa from Leicester. With a budget of just three and a half pounds, they make some nifty ingredient choices to stay on budget, and our chefs are tasked with turning out healthy delicious dishes without breaking the bank.

It's a family affair on Ready Steady Cook today as mother and daughter duo Audrey and Candice battle it out in the kitchen. Paired with chefs Ellis Barrie and Mike Reid, the mother-daughter pair are soon put to work in their respective kitchens.

Today's contestants are loved-up bride and groom to-be Daniella and Ross. Paired up with Chef Ellis Barrie, Daniella is keen to rustle up some mouth-watering pasta dishes inspired by her Italian heritage. In the green pepper kitchen, Ross is paired with Chef Akis Petretzikis.

We are keeping it in the family on Ready Steady cook today with father-daughter combo Henry and Alice. Both are keen to learn new dishes using their all-time favourite ingredients. The pair are kept busy at the family vineyard so need some quick, inspiring meals they can put together after a busy working day.

Cooking in the kitchen today are competitive siblings Shaun and Louisa from Liverpool. Before having their families neither sibling spent much time cooking, with Louisa instead using her oven as shoe storage! But now with young children, cooking healthy dinners from scratch is a priority.

On today's show are married couple Michelle and Kate from Cambridgeshire. Both follow a vegan diet so today's ingredients include everything from vegan staples to much more exotic produce. Both women have different reasons for following a vegan diet, which they share with Rylan.

Today's contestants are dad Matthew and his student daughter Maddie from Shrewsbury. At home Maddie isn't trusted to cook which she thinks is unfair. Today she's here to prove the family wrong and beat her dad. However, it won't be easy with two taste challenges to face, including the hectic ten-minute cook.

On the show today we have friends and work colleagues Dean and Julian. Both work for a charity supporting fishing communities, so its no surprise that there's fish on the menu today.

Essex siblings Sam and Chris are both hoping they've got what it takes to win Ready Steady Cook. They are the main cooks in their respective homes, and they share a love of food, but today the gloves are off as they battle to take home the glory and our Ready Steady Cook hamper.

Ivor and his boss Polly are big foodies who grow their own veg on their allotments. They make chutneys and bring them to work to try and out-do each other. Today they are bringing the competition to the Ready Steady Cook kitchen. They are cooking today with Chef Ellis Barrie and Chef Mike Reid.

Mum and son duo Pat and Tommy are cooking up a storm in the kitchen today. Mum Pat believes she has more traditional tastes, whilst Tommy's bag is influenced by his travels around the world and is full of more unusual ingredients.

Couple Nicole and Lewis are fighting it out in the kitchen today. Nicole admits that she does no cooking at all - she says she doesn't even boil an egg. Lewis is hoping a trip to the Ready Steady Cook kitchen might inspire her to get busy in the kitchen.

For Wolverhampton siblings Sommer and Daryl, food plays a huge part in their lives. Their large family gatherings revolve around shared meals. They were both taught to cook by their grandmother, who is cheering them on from the audience today.
