10. November 201726 Min.The crew meets up with a guide, winding their way up into the Andes mountains of Colombia. Next, they drop down into the Tatacoa Desert where they taste the fruits of the region and enjoy time with the locals. 17. November 201727 Min.Crossing into Ecuador, the team is on the hunt for the equator! 24. November 201734 Min.The crew comes down from northern Peru and makes their way to the Cordillera Blanca mountains. But first, they must traverse through narrow and dangerous tunnels carved along a cliffside. After a long day of driving, the team is awakened at gunpoint in the middle of the night. 1. Dezember 201733 Min.Ryan Erickson joins the team as they continue south from Lima, Peru and connect with Luis, an in-country contact for Peru. Luis graciously invites the team into his home and then leads them to the majestic Paracas Dunes for some dune driving. 8. Dezember 201731 Min.The team faces a stressful border crossing into Bolivia after resting near Lake Titicaca. After making it across the border, the team ventures into the expansive and technical landscape of Bolivia and the trucks catch a ride on some questionable ferries. 15. Dezember 201725 Min.In Oruro, Bolivia the fight for fuel begins. Six gas stations deny selling the team fuel. Later, the team runs into a group of soldiers and exchanges greetings with them. 22. Dezember 201731 Min.The team visits an abandoned train cemetery and marvels at the engineering. Climbing higher into the mountains, snow becomes an issue. The journey through the Valle De La Roca is taking longer than expected and fuel begins to run out. 29. Dezember 201735 Min.The team finds rest, hot showers, and food in San Pedro De Atacama, Chile. They explore the Valley of the Moon before heading south again. Only halfway through South America, the team takes time to reflect on the trip so far; they then fly back to Montana to let the harsh Chile winter pass. 19. Januar 201849 Min.During the South America finale, the team takes in the spectacular Mt. Fitz Roy peak and Moreno Glacier (Argentina and Chile). After a few vehicle challenges, the crew reaches the "end of the road," the conclusion of the Pan-American Highway, in Ushuaia, Argentina. A truly celebratory moment!
