Priyurali Pilichindi is the story of two sisters. Elder one Soumya (Tabu) falls in love with aspiring film director Manohar(Ajit). Younger sister Meenakshi (Aishwarya Rai Bachhan) is admired by wounded Army Captain Bala (Mammooty) but likes Srikanth, a businessman who shares her passion for poetry. Complications arise when the sisters' grandfather passes away, and they lose their family home.
