Michael Cortez a veteran in Afghanistan, returns home to the church where he was raised, to find peace, away from violence and the cruelty war creates. Micheal rejoins the priesthood and commits himself to serve God. Pushed into new duties of confessions he once again see's the cruelty and wickedness of man. Michael feels that God wants him to become the church militant of his community.
