The squad is investigating Misha Fedorov's kidnapping. One of the versions is a family argument, the boy could be kidnapped by his own mother to blame his father on neglect and ban his rights to custody after the divorce. Then an anonymous phone call proves that the kidnapper wants ransom. Soon the boy's father also disappears, the car which gave him a lift is found burned with a dead body inside.

A body dismembered by a chainsaw is left on a construction site at night.
