After moving to Copper Canyon, Max discovers that he possesses a superpower called Turbo Energy. Soon, Max's uncle Ferrus introduces Max to a secret program called N-Tek, and to a machine Max's father once worked on, that Max reactivates.

Prior to going on a date with Sydney, Max separates himself from Steel. Just as he and Sydney are about to kiss, a pair of Elementors appear to capture Max. Evidently, separating from Steel allows Max's Turbo Energy to become traceable.

As Molly, Uncle Ferrus, Steel, and N-Tek attempt to save Max, Miles Dredd reveals to Max that he was the one responsible for the explosion that killed Max's father, and, he has created a machine that is capable of absorbing Turbo Energy.

After attempting to clean every inch of the planet, Dr. Xander is fired from THI by the company's new C.E.O., and Max's mom, Molly. As an act of revenge, the disgruntled Dr. Xander proceeds to transform everyone at THI into zombies.

When the latest CYTRO bot is wirelessly hijacked by an unidentified enemy that is seeking to raid N-Tek's highly secure Chem Vault, Max must discover who wishes to steal the worst weapons on Earth, and for what purpose.

After a string of unusual water anomalies wreak havoc on Copper Canyon, Max Steel goes behind N-Tek's back to investigate the incidents. Upon finding a cavern on the ocean floor, Max Steel finds the source of the strange anomalies.

Without elaborating as to the details of the operation, N-Tek sends Max Steel to the Arctic where a Starship was found, as Steel is the only one who can pass through the Starship's forcefield. Dredd sends a mercenary on the same quest.

After a damaged Ultra-Link bonds with a master criminal, Extroyer is formed, a being that is capable of absorbing powers. After a string of high-tech robberies, Max Steel and N-Tek join forces to investigate who, or what, is responsible.

At a flea market, a merchant secretly places a cursed sword inside Kirby's backpack, a sword Jason Naught also seeks. When Kirby finds the sword, his attempts to rid himself of it fail, and he becomes possessed by an ancient Ronin spirit.

When Toxzon escapes from jail, he has a mind to exact revenge upon Max Steel by wiping Copper Canyon off the map. When Max and Steel find Toxzon, they discover that he is planning on creating acid rain strong enough to melt buildings.

Back at his base, Colonel Castel reveals to Max his intel on N-Tek, Max himself, and Miles Dredd. After recently witnessing their capabilities, Castel invites Max Steel to join the U.S. Army, believing they could accomplish much together.

When Dredd reveals N-Tek's secret location to the Air Elementor, it arrives only to be captured. The Air Elementor soon frees itself and the other three Elementors, when an accident combines the four of them into the Ultimate Elementor.

Ultimate Elementor escapes N-Tek and delivers Commander Forge to Dredd. It turns out that the Ultimate Elementor is experiencing a hard time controlling his body, as the four Elementors within him all wish to take ultimate control.

Extroyer's henchmen steal a package from a science lab and accidently proceed to park the car in preowned car lot with the package inside. The next morning, Max and Kirby buy the car, prompting Extroyer's henchmen to hunt for the car.

Maxwell McGrath discloses his identity as Max Steel to Sydney Gardner. Meanwhile, Ultimate Elementor has stolen a turbo ray from Dredd that is capable of transferring Max Steel into the Elementor's body to create an unstoppable force.

A strange virus begins to spread throughout Copper Canyon, and Max discovers that Toxzon is behind the mysterious illness. What is more concerning is that, as the one who fired him from his job, Molly, Max's mom, is Toxzon's prime target.

Steel is eager to learn more about the Ultra-Link that exists inside of Extroyer, but when he leaves Max to investigate, things go a little haywire, and both Extroyer and Max's systems begin to malfunction in interesting ways.

Upon embarking on a road trip to uncover N-Tek's true mission, Max and Steel are challenged by Dredd and Naught who are looking for a transmitter that will reveal all of N-Tek's locations. As a fierce battle ensues, N-Tek arrives.

Suddenly, the world′s oceans begin suffering from radioactive contamination. Upon investigating the matter, a radioactive-powered Toxzon is found to be the culprit. If Toxzon does not get Fishy back, he will poison the entire world.

While searching for his science project, Max's teacher stumbles upon Steel. Max pretends Steel is his science experiment, an electric shoe warmer. When Extroyer learns that an Ultra-Link (Steel) is on display at the school, he buys it.

To settle their bickering, the Elementors split up to hunt for Max Steel. Whoever finds him will become the new leader when they reunite as Ultimate Elementor. Meanwhile, Steel hypnotizes Berto to gain access to N-Tek's top secret files.

Weeks of relentless attacks by Ultimate Elementor force N-Tek to seek assistance from an unlikely source. They enlist Toxzon to create a toxic formula to defeat Elementor, but Toxzon soon reveals his formula to be a mind-control serum.

Max Steel battles Extroyer at a museum, but Extroyer escapes with the DNA of a prehistoric dinosaur, and soon extroys into a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Meanwhile, Sydney and Kirby impersonate Max Steel to thank the two heroes for their efforts.

Dredd is up to no good. He has created powerful weapons capable of not only destroying Copper Canyon, but also disabling N-Tek's shield over the Earth. Max and Steel learn the truth about their origin, and their purpose in life.
