The battle for the title of Brazil's top hairdresser begins with a follicular challenge featuring frizzy hair, "bronde" coloring and fringe cuts. Then, the stylists must draw inspiration from the Amazon to avoid the Final Cut.

While the group challenge tasks the hairdressers with using a variety of tough-to-execute techniques, those who enter the Dark Salon must channel great musical divas to create divine looks.

After a tricky group challenge creates drama, the stylists are asked to create affirming Afro hairstyles to prove they have what it takes to stay in the salon.

A team challenge featuring straight styles leads to straight-up drama for the competitors, who must then, create cuts channeling comic book characters.

The remaining stylists must bleach, cut, and shave their way through the Shiny Salon before rocking it out in a punk individual challenge.

With the competition more than halfway through, the remaining stylists try to revive damaged hair before creating innovative looks for future brides.

As the competition nears its end, the hairdressers must create rejuvenating looks for older customers before crafting extravagant styles for a red-carpet event.

For their final shot at the title, the stylists must give total makeovers to some very special customers before taking on a double challenge in the Dark Salon.
