Kevin joins JD in the snow laden town of Golden, and the pair goes in search of more food scene gems, setting their sights on Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and its ultimate mountaintop dining experience at the famous Eagle's Eye Restaurant.

Further west along the Trans-Canada Highway, beyond the avalanche zone of Rogers Pass, we came to the idyllic ski town of Revelstoke. Kevin heads straight to Revy Mountain Resort to get some powder, while JD gets well fed at Old School Eatery and little tanked at Jones Distillery.

With plenty of powder stashes still around, the SnowChef Crew set out to discover the food scene at Revelstoke Mountain Resort enlisting the assistance of Head Chef Adam Renquist for all the inside food information. Later, we drop back downtown Revy for some cocktails at Monashee Spirits Craft Distillery and get that late night Indian food fix.

Home to a booming craft drinks scene of breweries and distilleries, using ingredients sourced from their backyard, fused into beers, gins, vodkas and whiskeys that emulate the vibe of the town. You are truly tasting Revelstoke a town where it's about The Real Stoke.

Our Powder Highway trip headed south along the shores of the gorgeous Arrow and Slocan Lakes into the foodie town of Nelson. The crew drop into Pitchfork Eatery for a feed and libations. It's all beans and delicious coffee at No.6.

The SnowChef crew takes the drive up to Whitewater Ski Resort to discover a magical winter wonderland full of powder pillows and a plethora of healthy and tasty food. The lads roll back to Nelson to discover some more of the food scene across the Grand Beaver.

The destination is Panorama Mountain Resort, a magical combination of a cosy village with wide and empty groomers to steeps and chutes in the back bowls. They do their food in style here: fondue après at the Summit Hut, raclette at the Elkhorn Cabin, crafted pizzas at Alto... what's not to love?
