Death Comes to Pemberley

It's the eve of the Darcys' ball at Pemberley. Darcy and Elizabeth are relaxing after supper when the festivities are brought to an halt by an unexpected visitor and news of a murder in the woods.

After Wickham's arrest, Elizabeth reassures the staff at Pemberley that all will be well, but it's clear that Darcy feels everything is very far from well as he seeks to protect the household against the scandal.

The trial draws to a close and Wickham's fate looks sealed until a last-minute turn of events reveal a suspect closer to home. It becomes a race against time to prove who is the real culprit and save an innocent man from death by hanging.
