In this action packed season opener our contestants will be tested on land and sea: physically, mentally and spiritually. Team work will be the deciding factor, and everyone is faced with a harsh decision.

There are 9 celebrity warriors remaining after the first episode. They are faced with a daunting obstacle – a massive sand dune on a hot sunny day. Who will have to race up this mountain of sand? How many times will they have to do it? And what challenges await our contestants at the top of the dune? Fitness will come into play, as will teamwork, problem solving, and most of all – determination!

Our 8 remaining contestants meet Games Master Wairangi in a Pacific colluseum. There is an obstacle course and a giant tapa cloth on the field as well as two sets of giant patterned tiles. What kind of arts and crafts does Wairangi have in stall for our celebrity Pacific warriors? Will it be brains over strength?

Only 6 celebrity Nesian men and women remain. We’ve had plenty of physical challenges and some tough mental ones too.. Time to test their creativity! Games Master Wairangi greets our contestants by the pool and let’s them know the challenge of the day. It definitely involves getting wet and requires physicality – but gracefulness and entertainment will be the deciding factors for this challenge!

The starting 10 has been whittled down to 5 contestants. All have proved to work well in a team environment. However Games Master Wairangi is about to break the news – this week’s challenge is an individual one. Who will shine on their own? And who will miss the strengths of their teammates?

Only 4 contestants remain in our search for the ultimate celebrity Nesian Warrior. 2 wāhine, 2 tāne. Our warriors meet Games Master Wairangi in the bush and soon find out they will have to use ancient survival techniques.. To make a cup of tea...

It’s Grand Final time. 3 contestants remain: Dave ‘The Alpha Male’; Tumehe ‘The Energizer Bunny’; and Makere ‘The Underdog’. They have proven to be the most determined and adaptable to make it this far in the competition. Games Master Wairangi has the most epic set of challenges yet for them – some challenges will be recycled from earlier in the competiton, others will be new.
