This drama recounts one of history's great political rivalries. Two 16th Century Monarchs, Mary Queen of Scots and Elizabeth I of England, wage a personal struggle for political and religious supremacy of England. This epic battle for succession is strewn with victims of murder, betrayal and kidnapping. While the conflict ends with Mary's infamous beheading, her son James rises to claim the crown.
