The Jungle Book

It is the rainy season and Baloo is out to look for some gooseberries but he can't find any. He notices some of them and realizes that Rangoo is collecting them for the cranes. On their way ahead, Baloo slips on the wet mud and slips. Mowgli joins him as it ends up in a fun slide. But the slide lands them straight back on Rangoo and this time he doesn't look pleased at all.

Mowgli is waiting for Baloo but instead ends up face to face with Sher Khan. He runs for his life and starts calling out for help. Phaona hears his cries but instead of helping him, he just watches the show. Mowgli tricks Sher khan and he falls into the river but soon he is free too. Now Mowgli gets worried as he lands himself in the water too.

It is day time and the sight before the wolves is not a pleasing one. The Temple looks scarier with the big wolf deity. Daruka decides to leave Phaona to attend to Akela but Mowgli has his own doubts. He asks Darzee to keep an eye on the two and let him know if anything goes wrong.

Tabaqui has been chasing after his meal when he runs into a human camp built a long time ago. And he gets an idea. Plotting alongside Shere Kahn, Tabaqui goes up to Baloo, Bagheera and Mowgli and tells them that man is here and hands them over a gun. A worried Baloo decides to inform the animals to take refuge.

Mowgli is busy inspecting the flowers when one of them makes him blind, temporarily. Baloo decides to get some aid and asks Bageerah to keep a watch on him. Tabaqui sees this as an opportunity and runs up to Bageerah and Mowgli telling them that Darzee is in trouble. While Bageerah goes out to look for Darzee, Mowgli is left all by himself.

Mowgli finds a solidified resin, amber and is very excited to have it. But Baloo wants to put it away as a legend goes around that the amber has the power of all the animals who have come before and the one who owns it, owns the power and animals will try and own it if they get to know of it.

Mowgli finds a kite and he and Darzee begin playing with it. The wind is good and soon they lose the kite only to realize that Rikki is stuck and he is been flown away with the kite. The kite flies through places and Rikki is feeling quite unwell with the heights and the constant rise and fall. Darzee tries to help but as always she is only making matters worse.

Akela is taken sick and Baloo confirms that it is some kind of infection. He fears there is no cure but Akela tells them that the waters of the Temple of the Wolf can cure him. But they fear that Akela will not make it till there. Lali is not allowed on the trip as she is a she-wolf, so is Raksha. But Lali has other plans and so does Phaona.

Ikki finds out that her special berries are missing and is very concerned. Baloo thinks that it is the work of a thief and Mowgli decides to find clues. They find out that the thief is a big bear and Mowgli decides to sort out the matter. Baloo, Bagheera and Mowgli decide to lay a trap for the bear and wait in Ikki's alcove.

The entire jungle is sick and Baloo and Mowgli are giving the animals Haldi so that they can recover. Tabaqui is the last of the patients and Baloo and Mowgli have run out of Haldi. Baloo too catches a cold and Mowgli offers to go find some more Haldi. But Tabaqui convinces Shere Khan that he has no cold and that they must go and hunt for the Man-cub.
