90 Day Journey: Danielle & Mohamed

Danielle is eager to bring her younger Tunisian fiance Mohamed to the US after meeting him online. After landing in Ohio, Mohamed faces many American firsts that leave him feeling overwhelmed, and he's caught off guard by Danielle's fiscal problems.

Mohamed visits an immigration lawyer the morning of his wedding to find out what marrying Danielle entails. Armed with the information, he struggles to decide if he'll marry Danielle, and her friends are skeptical about his true feelings.

Danielle's worst nightmare comes true when Mohamed, her husband of less than two years, disappears. He reveals why he was pushed to leave her and talks about moving to Miami with his new friend, but his looming immigration status creates more stress.

Danielle discovers through social media that Mohamed has relocated to Miami and decides to seek a lawyer's advice about an annulment. In Miami, tensions grow between Mohamed and Luisa when he learns she has plans to move to the West Coast.

Things take a turn for the worse between Luisa and Mohamed, and she feels he uses people to get what he wants. Mohamed wants continue his life in Miami, but he worries about his immigration status when he learns Danielle filed for an annulment.

Mohamed returns to Ohio to face Danielle for the first time in months and ask her to change the annulment to a divorce. Things escalate quickly, leading to multiple blowups and Danielle feeling pressured to withdraw her filing.

Danielle arrives in Miami determined to give her marriage one last try, but Mohamed is furious that she came to see him. At Mohamed's apartment, Danielle becomes so enraged she threatens him with deportation, and Mohamed calls the police.

Danielle and Mohamed meet in Ohio and have a civil conversation where she asks him to personally apologize to her family. Later, Mohamed returns to Florida and meets a new woman, Diamond, and she hopes their friendship can evolve into something more.

Danielle visits a lawyer with her friend and receives grim news about the likelihood of getting an annulment at her hearing. As Mohamed prepares to return to Ohio, he meets with Diamond to say goodbye and learns that Danielle has been contacting her.

Danielle and Mohamed prepare for the annulment trial separately. She's anxious that he will do something crazy, and he is paranoid about deportation. On the day of the trial, Mohamed ignores Danielle upon arriving at the courthouse.

Danielle reveals the judge's ruling and decides to take a different course of action. Later, Danielle and her family quarantine together, Mohamed reaches out to check in on her and she's concerned about his safety since he's working as a truck driver.

Three years after her divorce from Mohamed, 47-year-old Danielle is looking for love again. Before she can move on, Mohamed asks her to meet him for lunch. She is ready to face him but fears this meeting could cause old feelings to come flooding back.

Danielle heads out on a single ladies trip to Ocean City. Her friends set up an online dating profile for her to help her find Mr. Right, but her time with Mohamed has affected her confidence.

On her last night in Ocean City, Danielle is getting dolled up for another date. She is nervous to head out on a tiki boat ride with Sonny, a younger man, but she hopes this might finally be her chance for a true love connection.
