In the season premiere, the culmination of Dorothy's confrontation with the Candlemaker leads to a devastating loss, leaving each member of the Doom Patrol at a difficult crossroads.

Cliff, Jane, Vic and Rita take a break from their overwhelming responsibilities and go on vacation. Unfortunately, an age-old enemy, Garguax the Decimator, is waiting for them.

After waking up in the tunnel of souls, the Doom Patrol must confront their own personal purgatories. Back at the manor, Dorothy and Larry consult a highly specialized detective agency to help reach their friends.

Rattled by the unexpected complications of being "undead," the Doom Patrol are inspired to better themselves. But their efforts are soon disrupted by the return of a former adversary and the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman.

Madame Rouge enlists the Doom Patrol's help after learning about her unsettling past. While the rest of the team works to infiltrate the target, Rita stays behind and finds a surprising connection with their mysterious friend.

After the time machine deposits her in 1917 with a very specific note, Rita finds herself working at the Bureau of Normalcy, where she connects with an oddly familiar group. Back at the manor, Jane facilitates Kay's first taste of freedom.

While Jane takes on the "others" for Kay, Vic consults an old friend about a major life change, and Cliff takes his online habits from bad to worse. Amid the mounting chaos, Madame Rouge attempts to rally the group against impending doom.

While the fog obscures more than just the air, Vic, Cliff, Jane, and Larry must relive their most shameful moments until a breakthrough occurs, and Rita begins to better understand Madame Rouge.

With Madame Rouge vying for her old spot in the Brotherhood of Evil, the Doom Patrol brace themselves for their impending visit.

As the Brotherhood of Evil closes in, the Doom Patrol try to set aside past issues in hopes of becoming a true superhero team – or risk being taken out for good.
