DREAM FESTIVAL! (Original Japanese Version)

Kanade Amamiya, a normal high school student, suddenly gets scouted by the legendary idol, Hayato Mikami. Kanade was going to decline the offer to become an idol, but then he finds himself going at it with the rookie class idol, Junya Sasaki.

Kanade Amamiya has succeeded in getting into the rookie class at D-Four Production, where he's given the opportunity to observe Shin Oikawa's work as an idol. Kanade tries his best to start a conversation with the taciturn Shin.

Shin Oikawa, a fellow idol in the rookie class with Kanade Amamiya, is caught in a scandal! Were the lyrics he wrote for "2032" about a past girlfriend?!

At the agency president's recommendation, Kanade, Shin, and Junya form a unit. The three begin intense training to prepare for their first concert, but Kanade is having trouble keeping up with Junya's rigorous schedule.

Traffic Signal has successfully completed their first concert, but now they're in a battle to decide who gets to be the leader! Shin suggests they make the decision based on how well they each do at their next job.

While Kanade is working hard at his lessons, he's approached by an idol who's already made his debut with the popular unit In-Show-Ha, Yuzuru Sawamura! Yuzuru is Chizuru's twin brother, and he seems to have taken a serious liking to Kanade.

Traffic Signal's activities are finally getting on track, and now they're in the spotlight as the favorites to win at Battle Live, the upcoming competition many consider the preliminary event to Dream Fes.

The members of Traffic Signal are disheartened by the results of Battle Live, but their spirits are lifted by the proposal of Chizuru and Itsuki joining them to form a new five-member unit. But for some reason, Itsuki doesn't seem thrilled by the idea.

The five rookies have formed DearDream and begun their idol activities anew, but all the slots set aside for new units at the agency's upcoming events are filled by the explosively popular KUROFUNE, so they don't even have a stage to stand on!

DearDream was successful in putting on a concert their own way. Shortly after, Junya was offered an enormous opportunity to train in New York under a world-famous entertainer. But if he leaves the country, he won't be able to participate in Dream Fes.

It's almost time for Dream Fes, and DearDream has made the daring decision to enter the festival with an original song. They manage to find someone to compose it for them, but Shin, who's been tasked with writing the lyrics, is drawing a blank.

D-Four Production's biggest event, Dream Festival, begins at last! But on the day of the event, Kanade disappears right before they're due to perform. The other members frantically search for him. Will DearDream be able to take the stage?!
