Al's Fish'n With Mates

Al heads to the incredibly remote Groote Eylandt in Australia's Top End and discovers some incredibly fish rich waters that are completely untouched.

After an incredible session and magical night under a million stars Al and the crew set off to find Jurassic Reef and hit pay dirt like never before. Bomber hooks a true denizen of the deep before huge mackerel literally start exploding out for the water for some of the most epic aerial footage even filmed. There were so many fish they even took the hooks off!

There is something very special about catching your first marlin but fitting it in to the schedule for Aussie Rules superstar Jeremy Cameron is no easy chore. Al kicks things off catching heaps of marlin but the pressure is on when Jeremy arrives with just two days to get it done. To make matters worse the weather turns sour and then there is a surprising twist for the boys.

More giant marlin are caught off Cairns in Far North Queensland on Australia East Coast than anywhere else in the world. Al jumps on board one of the gameboats for the adventure of a lifetime living on the Great Barrier Reef and quickly discovers there is so much more than huge black marlin to play with, even just catching the baits is incredible

In part two Al and the crew finally stop getting distracted by all the other sportfish and get to work and connecting to some huge black marlin. There are encounter with sharks and a huge cod, but it's the last fish of the trip that makes it all worthwhile and just has to be seen to be believed!

After hearing rumours of an untouched sailfish fishery in a remote waters of the Gulf of Carpentaria Al teams up with Bomber again for some of the most amazing baitball fishing ever. Double hooks, crazy aerial footage is just the beginning before Al jumps in and joins the action for a whole new prospective and some serious up close and personal action!
