This film tells the story of three brave women who suffered the terrifying scourge of domestic abuse. It was shot over a period of 12 months, starting from the moment each made an emergency call. The film exposes the complex emotions these women felt when someone they loved became violent. It also explores the difficulties police face when those feelings mean victims are not completely honest.
