Exotic Destinations 101

Asia is one of the most captivating and beautiful continents on earth. Each country is unique and beautiful in its own way, however there are a few which are especially exotic, with awe-inspiring natural beauty that takes your breath away and gives you goosebumps.

When you think of Africa, you might immediately think of wide-open savannas and desert landscapes. However, this is certainly not the only type of setting that this amazing continent offers. In fact, Africa has some of the world's most beautiful beaches, imposing mountain ranges, and lush tropical forests.

Covering over a quarter of the land on the planet, there is perhaps nowhere on earth as diverse and varied as the Americas. From some of the world's most cosmopolitan cities to regions hidden away deep in rainforests and totally untouched; from arid deserts to dazzling tree-fringed beaches and dramatic mountains, the region is full of juxtapositions - and that's what makes it so appealing.

Oceania. From the wide-open plains of the desert in Australia, to the lush tropical islands dotted around the Pacific, the variety of landscapes found in Oceania is truly jaw-dropping. There's enticing beaches, thick rainforests, arid deserts and just about everything in between.

As far as travel destinations go, it doesn't get much better than beautiful Europe. Although its historic cities often get the attention, the continent also boasts wide open spaces and beautiful landscapes from the Alps to the desert, and everything in between.

When it comes to landscapes that remind you of the mighty power and dazzling beauty of our natural environment, few places compete with Northern Europe. This is a region of striking contrasts and extremes - the ferocity and heat of volcanic eruptions, and the glistening stillness of ice and snow; the dazzling peaks of mountains and the plunging valleys and crevices.

Rugged South America is a continent of contrasts - from towering glaciers to volcanic canyons, and huge expanses of barren desert to sprawling rainforest. Plus, while huge countries like Brazil have a well-deserved reputation for delivering natural wonder and manmade spectacles, the smaller, undiscovered nations are equally enchanting.

North Africa is an enchanting and captivating region. Most famously, it boasts the largest dry desert on earth; however, that is not to say the landscape is not hospitable. Far from it - it is a place where some of the world's oldest civilizations flourished, and where the landscapes are varied and beautiful.

Western Asia is a stunningly diverse region that encompasses several of the world's most enchanting and exotic countries. With each nation in this region boasting its own distinctive and rich culture - as well as uniquely beautiful landscapes - it is a truly fascinating place to explore.

South Asia is a region consisting of a diverse group of countries, each offering their own charms yet united by certain common threads. This region is rich in spirituality, natural beauty, and resources; with lush landscapes and fragrant spice exports that are enjoyed the world over.
