Shane, feeling stuck in a toxic relationship with his boyfriend Ethan attends a party where he meets Jonathan who is in a similar situation with his boyfriend Sam. The two strike up a conversation with hopes in finding a new found friendship but feelings instantly emerge that could shake up their current problematic relationships.

After their initial meeting, Shane and Jonathan set up a double date for them and their boyfriends Ethan and Sam. During this date, more relationship toxicity is shown and the Spark between Shane and Jonathan only grows more as they begin to understand each other's situation.
