Tip the Mouse

Tip feels very "free" today. After coming home from kindergarten, there's no way he's going to pay attention to what his Mom's says. He decides that rules are boring and useless. You have to obey them at school, and now at home too? The more he thinks about it, the more he gets upset. Tip doesn't need any rules! In fact, "no rules" is the only rule worth following.

Tip and his Mom are visiting Jody and Marilou. The pups are pretending to be wizards, jumping and chanting to cast a spell. But Jody's little brother is napping so they should lower their voices. "It's totally impossible, wizards are noisy!", argues Tip. So his Mom suggests that they could play at their home, since Tippy is staying with the grandparents.

Tip is having a picnic by the riverside with his and Billy's family. He is playing with Billy and his sister Offy, having a great time dumping seaweed on his head and pretending to be a smelly seaweed monster! When he gets back home, he refuses to take a bath, as Tip still wants to play tag with Jody and Betty.

While Mom and Dad go to visit friends, Tip and Tippy will have to stay with their aunts, spending the night at their house. But Tip is not happy. He likes visiting his aunts, but it's not fair that Mommy and Daddy go away and have fun without him! Besides, this is the first time he and Tippy have to sleep over at their aunts' place and he will definitely get bored!

Tip is playing in the playground with Jody and his other friends. Tip climbs up the jungle gym and Betty praises him when he comes down: "You're so good, how you do that?" Tip has an explanation: he's so good because...he is a boy... And we all know, boys are better than girls!

Lily, a neighbour and friend of Tip's Mom, comes to visit. She brings along Gugu, her 18-month-old son. Tip's Mom has arranged a play date for the kids, but Gugu immediately picks up one of Tip's toys. "Hey, wait, you're going to break that!" Then Gugu picks up another one, and starts licking it!

Jumper, the gym teacher, has organised a run for the kids. Tip and Jody form their own team - and they're definitely going to win! They're the smartest and strongest team in kindergarten! So they compete to win, ignoring the rules of sportsmanship and fair play.

Today Tip's village woke up under a soft layer of snow. Tip is enthusiastic about it and wants to play with his sled all day long! But Mom has to go out and Tip can't stay at home. The little mouse is very sad: there's no way he's going to waste a day like today in kindergarten! But what a great surprise: at kindergarten, the teacher is preparing a special day based on snow games!

Tip seems to have a great imagination today, coming up with all kinds of fibs and exaggerated stories to his family. And he's not done when he goes on a field trip with kindergarten. But he soon finds out that his tall tales are starting to get him into trouble, because if you tell too many made-up stories, people stop listening to you.

Tip is having a bad day at kindergarten. He is convinced that his friend Jody is definitely betraying him and that he doesn't want to play with him anymore! But as luck would have it, the two find themselves on an adventure that makes them realize that friends can quarrel, which doesn't mean you're not friends anymore.

It's Saturday evening and Tip's parents are going out for dinner. Tip and Tippy will stay at home with the babysitter. But Tip is not happy, he really doesn't want a babysitter. No and no! But someone knocks at the door, and Tip is surprised...that's not what he was expecting!

It's a warm spring day and Tip finds a caterpillar in the garden. He wants to bring it into the house and begs his parents to let him keep his pet. Mom and Dad are hesitant, but Tip promises: he will take care of everything! Indeed Tip will soon face the consequences of his choice, realizing that the best place to live for his new friend is its own natural environment.

Tip is playing hide and seek with his friends next to Jody's house. He hides right behind a sweater that Marylou has hung out to dry in the garden...and accidentally he frays it. What a mess! Better to run away and hide! What happens if someone discovers him! And why is policeman Albert at the door? Will he bring him to the prison? Tip is getting worried, no way out for him, he's sure!

It's a sunny day and Tip is having fun playing with his friends on the banks of the creek. But why do their mothers have to be so cautious about their sun cream, bandanas and life jackets? Then Tip sees an old bottle near the shore. Now that is the perfect pirate ship to sail the seven seas! That is... until the "vessel" is suddenly carried away by the creek's rush.

Maggie is preparing a very special day at kindergarten. The pups will have the opportunity to experience a real job! The grocer, the doctor, the policeman, the painter, the stylist and the hairdresser...no doubt Tip wants to be a policeman! Unfortunately the drawing lots decide that Tip has to spend the morning being the hairdresser. Tip is in despair, he will get bored for sure!

Tip's Mom plans to take a photo. Mr. Paco is ready, waiting with all his photo equipment in the garden of Tip's house. But Tip is fighting with his figure, reflected in the mirror, since the early morning. He feels ugly and doesn't want to be part of the photo. Maybe painting his tuft in red colour, just as the famous rock singer shown in the magazine he has found, he might look cooler.

It's an evening summer and Tip doesn't want to go to sleep. He is afraid of the dark in the bedroom, even if he is staying at his Grandparent's house and Tippy sleeping next to him. He's pretty sure that a monster was hiding under his bed an now in the wardrobe... when Grandma turned off the light - he has just seen its frightening paw!

Jody lends Tip his favourite robot toy. Tip goes enthusiastic to his aunt's house, bringing Jody's toy with him. But after playing only a little time with it, he leaves the precious robot in the garden. Later, the starting raining causes the robot to be immobile. His aunts remind him of how he would feel if his favourite toy would be ruined.

It's lunchtime, Tip and Tippy are staying at their grandparents place and Tip doesn't want to eat his vegetable soup, he even refuses to just taste it. No way to persuade Tip: vegetables are absolutely disgusting - so he prefers to take refuge in the garden. But something gains Tip's attention...what is Grandma doing?

Tip is playing with his friends at kindergarten, all excited about his pyjama party on that evening. The storm forecast for later frightens the other pups with Tip and Jody being all cocky about them, not knowing any fear themselves. Maggie takes up the subject of storm and overcoming fears.

Tip's mom is visiting her friend Lily, taking Tippy to play with Gugu. Tip insists that he prefers staying at home with Dad. And he promises not to disturb Dad, but just watch him working in his crib. Dad is working on a very important project and it's going to be really awesome! But soon Tip gets bored and starts complaining: Daddy is too focused on his work to let Tip have his way.

Tip is at Paco's shop with his Mom and his friend Betty. Teddy half appears from the backpack that Tip is wearing and at some moment he falls out of the backpack. Back home, Tip figures out Teddy is not there and he is very worried: where's Teddy? He must go on search for Teddy and bring him back home!

Tip has a cold so Mom decides to take him to Dr. Bigtail. But Tip doesn't want to go to the Doctor... even if he knows Dr. Bigtail. Tip has the jitters... For sure he will make him drink some awful medicine and pinch his nose. Tip tries any way to escape but his attempts fail and Mom manages in taking him to Doctor Bigtail.

The pups at kindergarten are all excited for the masquerade party that evening. Tip goes over to Jody to work on his costume, but compared to Jody's one, made with help of Marylou, his idea seems not really good enough. Tip is so discouraged, he doesn't want to go to the party anymore...and no way to change his mind.
