Having survived a fall down a cliff face, Sonja in a battered condition continues her flight, with Emil in close pursuit. Emil has Sonja in his sights and it is only by using unusual and drastic methods that she is able to get away. Vera and Gerafi hatch a plan on how to gain control of the Major's enterprise once and for all. Sonja's children are clearly a target for Vera and Gerafi.

Sonja is finally in custody where she frets over Linus' well-being and her own safety. She tries in one way or another to gain the help of her lawyer, Lukas. She simply has to get out of there. A plan is put into action. The threat against Sonja's family is still serious and they are moved to secure accommodation.

A big reunion in the Major's mansion to the great joy of Sonja. Not everyone, however, is able to share Sonja's enthusiasm. The mood is strange, there are so many unanswered questions. Because Vera failed to deliver last time Gerafi no longer wants to have anything to do with her. It makes Vera desperate and she becomes even more dangerous.

Linus has disappeared and his family fears for his safety. Zac continues to search for him all over town. Gustav comes back after the security leak has been exposed, and now Emil and Gustav can return Sonja to the legal process. Linus who doesn't want Sonja to be charged makes preparations for the whole family to flee.

Sonja is in the hands of Gerafi and his men. The family is once more in temporary secure accommodation, but the cohesion within the family is slowly starting to break down. Gustav is more convinced than ever that Sonja should go to jail.

Sonja and Lukas travel out to Vera's estate to rescue Linus, but Vera doesn't stick to her side of the bargain. Gustav and Emil find out that there is more information than they realised earlier in their pursuit of Sonja and Vera, and they head out to try to solve the dilemma.
