Hank is a heavily recruited football prospect with scholarships coming that Hank's blue-collar parents are counting on so he can have a bright future, far away from their hardscrabble life in Texas. Hank and his friends take Hank's little brother Tim on a celebratory hunting trip. A series of bad decisions lead to a tragic accident which threatens to destroy the family...and his dream.
