Blue Murder

This is the first in a two-part crime drama, starring Caroline Quentin as detective and single mother Janine Lewis, who is forced to put her family concerns aside to investigate the murder of a deputy headmaster found disemboweled on his allotment.

With just 48 hours to crack the case, Janine's professional future looks bleak and her domestic situation continues to unravel. With ex-husband Pete's bitter accusations of neglect ringing in her ears, the troubled DCI visits Lesley Tulley to inform her that Dean Hendrix has been arrested for the crime - but a call from Richard leads to the chilling realization that her own life is in danger.
