The Tick

The episode kicks off with a short interview of The Tick and Arthur, where they describe working together as superheroes and how they met up to fight crime, after The Tick was assigned to The City by the superhero institute and after Arthur was fired from his accounting job.

The Tick, American Maid, and Arthur go undercover to break an evil scheme by Chairface Chippendale, who is tired of the world disrespecting and shunning him (since he has a chair for a head). So he tries to use a giant heat ray designed by Professor Cromedome to carve his name into the face of the moon.

Neil accidentally eats some dinosaur DNA he was trying to grow into a dinosaur (quote Neil: "I saw it in a movie!"). After eating the sample, Neil grows into a 180-ton dinosaur and terrorizes The City until Arthur discovers his hidden weakness...

Mr. Mental hypnotizes The Tick and sends him to steal the Thinking Cap from Pendecker Labs. En route, The Tick crashes through explosion proof walls, swims through a toxic river, and battles a giant robot to acquire the cap. Once The Tick is free from Mr. Mental's grasp, our heroes have to try to get the cap back...

The Breadmaster is an evil baker that uses baked goods to terrorize The City. Eventually, he and his sidekick, Buttery Pat, demand vast quantities of baking supplies to use them to create a soufflé that will destroy the city!

The most evil sunflower-headed villain on two stems, El Seed, hopes to take over the city by bringing all of the plants and trees to life.

The Tick, Arthur, Die Fledermaus, and Sewer Urchin borrow Dot's car to drive to the Comet Club, a superhero only bar. Once there, Arthur is promptly thrown into the sidekick lounge while The Tick is assaulted by the The Tick (Barry), the club owner's brother-in-law.

Arthur is nursing The Tick, who is infected with a most uncommon cold! Arthur visits apartment 14B to return some mail, where he is captured by Thrakkorzog, the evil ruler of dimension 14B. Thrakkorzog wants to use an army of Tick clones to conquer the Earth, so he clones Arthur and sends The Evil Arthur Clone to get a tissue sample of The Tick.

Charles, the Brainchild, is a criminal mastermind, thinking up evil thoughts and jotting them down in his notepad. His young sister Amelia is his partner-in-crime. So while Charles's progressive parents lecture Arthur on raising children without punishing them, Charles is busy trying to destroy the Earth by colliding the moon with it!

The National Space Program has a capsule that goes out of control, which exposes their space monkey, Yank, to cosmic rays, transforming him into a super genius. Unfortunately, Yank's capsule splashes down in Pokoponesia, the realm of the nefarious Pineapple Pokopo. American Maid enlists the aid of Arthur and The Tick, who set off to rescue Yank.

The King of the Mole People and his ministers come to the surface world for a vacation, staying with Arthur and The Tick. While watching TV, The King sees Mindy Moleford, the internationally famous, beautiful super-model. He falls in love and vows to make her his queen, while fighting off a Lavaman assassin.

Clown engineer Bud creates a super clown called Proto-Clown, who hates to be laughed at. He rampages through The City, causing The City heroes to flee when Tick and Arthur return. Tick battles Proto-Clown, but it's Bud who eventually calms down Proto-Clown -- that is until Bud accidentally presses his honking nose, causing our heroes to crack up…

The Terror, a 115 year-old villain, attempts to take over The City by commanding a team he calls his "beautifully unbalanced, engine of evil." The group takes control of Mayor Blank's house and captures him. After sulking over a fight with Arthur, The Tick finally assists American Maid and Arthur in fighting the villains.
