Last of the Summer Wine

Foggy films a video message to send to Nora's ailing brother in Australia, so he can be reminded what a traditional British Christmas is like.

Feeling somewhat less than merry, Compo, Clegg and Foggy visit a friend in hospital before opening their presents. Meanwhile, Sid, Ivy, Nora and Wally Batty, have their relatives over to dinner.

Foggy anticipates the festive rush and decides to start his shopping early - but is disappointed that the shops are not selling Christmas cards in high summer. The intrepid pensioner then takes forester Big Eric's offer of buying 100 fir trees, only to find they are infested with insects. Meanwhile, Compo gets de-bagged by Ivy and Nora in Sid's cafe.

Compo and Clegg meet Seymour, would-be inventor and uncle of the bride, who causes an unexpected turn or two at the wedding of Wesley and Edie's daughter.

Seymour resolves to put some of the magic back into Christmas with some help from Compo and Clegg.

Compo cannot think of a Christmas gift for Nora. Does Auntie Wainwright have the answer?

It's Boxing Day, and Barry is in big trouble after spending the night in the pub. Will Foggy's prized Christmas present come to his rescue?
