Kevin Hart’s Muscle Car Crew

Kevin Hart and his Plastic Cup Boyz want to make their passion for cars legit, but to do this, they need a serious education about cars and car culture. After a dismal showing at a local car show, they search for an appropriate builder and hire Lucky Costa, who wins the job after the Boyz interview other builders in town.

Kevin and the Boyz take their first educational field trip to the Irwindale Drag Strip, where they learn about power and engine boost from some experienced locals. John and Spank each take a turn down the strip. Meanwhile, the new clubhouse location is revealed in the form of a cluttered storage unit.

The Boyz take a trip to Radford Racing school in Arizona, where they learn the driving techniques they need to handle speed and power. Harry shares his inspiration for logos with mixed results. Spank and Lucky talk engine, interiors, paint - the works, but budget gets in the way of Spank’s big dreams. Work begins on John’s car and his dreams of boost are delivered.

A spirited discussion about stance and paint leads the Boyz to visit the Peterson Museum of Los Angeles to see the finest examples of color, chrome, and other details including the Gypsy Rose, the most famous Low Rider in the world. A trip to the iconic Mr. Cartoon's Clubhouse gives the Boyz a lesson on what it means to have a genuinely respected car club.

A visit to The Dockweiler VW Bug show gives Joey some ideas for his resto/mod and Kevin  another example of how a car club operates. Kevin arranges for the Boyz to visit Irwindale Drift  Track to learn from some champions how they make extreme use of brakes and suspension.Harry, Joey, and John take a heart-stopping trip around the track. 

The Boyz take their first trip to a live auction at Barrett Jackson where they get a taste of high end cars and learn the various ways other builders make money in the car resto/mod business. They learn how much money is made - and lost - when they experience their first auction. Kevin brings home a dandy custom ‘59 Corvette he names "Mint Condition" for $750K.

Convening at the Clubhouse, the Boyz realize that they work better together and set off to achieve everything necessary for their official Car Club Launch. At Timeless Kustoms, Kevin sees his resto/mods in various state of builds, and Harry and John get a taste of working at the highest resto/mod level.

With car upgrades finished, the Boyz arrive at Boss's social media location to take iconic photos to launch them into the world. Wearing their new Car Club Jackets, the debate starts as to who will be President? Kevin realizes that the best way for them to move forward is to continue to work together: they don't need a President!
