In this third heat, 8 artists set out to tackle the bustling scenes of Whitstable Harbour in Kent. Join Stephen Mangan and Joan Bakewell for a brand new series of Landscape Artist of the Year, searching for Britain's best landscape artist. In the fourth heat, 8 artists are taking on the view from the foot of the Eden Project's steeply terraced gardens.

In this fifth heat, 8 artists head to the Georgian Compton Verney in Warwickshire to capture the stately grandeur of its Classical architecture in an artwork that will impress judges Kate Bryan, Kathleen Soriano and Tai Shan Schierenber.

Five semi finalists have been chosen by judges Tai Shan Schierenberg, Kate Bryan and Kathleen Soriano and now they must paint the icon of engineering excellence that is the Forth Bridge. Also joining them is this year's Wildcard Winner, bringing the total to six talented and competitive artists.

Thousands of artists from all over the UK have battled with brushes, rollers, paints and pencils for just 3 places in the final. Faced with the magical topiaried "Alice in Wonderland" scenery, our artists battle it out to create an artwork that will see judges Tai Shan Schierenberg, Kate Bryan and Kathleen Soriano crown one of them the Landscape Artist of the Year.

We follow the progress of the winner of this year's Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year as they head to the Pennines to take on and complete a 10,000 pounds commission for the Manchester Art Gallery to create an artwork celebrating the heritage of the North West of England. Our winning artist will enjoy a unique perspective of the natural and historic architecture.

This special episode, presented by Joan Bakewell and Stephen Mangan sees six artistically talented celebrities visit Whitstable, the fishing town on the north Kent coast. With the artists lined up in their pods overlooking the long, picturesque Whitstable beach, the view also incorporates the oyster beds for which Whitstable is famous, as well as the Thames estuary and offshore wind turbines.

Stephen Mangan and Joan Bakewell present this special episode featuring highlights from Series 7 of Landscape Artist of the Year. Over the course of the summer, 40 competitive artists faced a series of inspiring and challenging views from all over the UK, with just four hours in which to complete a winning work of art.
