After fleeing Sweden and the old friends he has testified against, former criminal Rickard is living a quiet life in Thailand. One day his daughter Thyra shows up looking for him and his world is turned upside down.

After getting his daughter out of prison, and hoping that the worst is over, Rickard expects Thyra to return to Sweden, but instead he discovers that she is hiding more secrets and he realises there is no turning back.

Thyra, who is furious after Rickard's betrayal, has gone missing. Richard desperately tries to find her before she makes a fatal mistake.

A tragic event brings Rickard and Thyra closer together, but Birdie is becoming increasingly desperate and enlists the help of hit man Mark to get Rickard.
