Gunnhild moves to Sandane and meets her roommates. She has her first day at school and tries hard to make a good first impression, but in small town life there's always someone who knows something about you.

Lovleg is a comedic drama about Gunnhild who is fifteen and moves away from home for the first time to a small town in western Norway called Sandane. She moves into a big house in the middle of town with Sara, Peter and Alex and starts high school at Firda VGS. Gunnhild is suddenly confronted with a new sense of freedom and responsibility.

It's Gunnhilds birthday, and to cheer her up Sara suggest having a big party on Thursday. Through planning it she gets to know her roommates in both the first and second floor of the house a little better. As the party starts she is ready to finally feel at home, but that feeling is hard to conjure up at will.

Gunnhild is starting to get impatient to get all the new experiences her newly adult-ish life has to offer. She goes out to plan something spontaneous with help from her new friends, but ends up in a most unexpected situation.

Gunnhild tries to analyze last weeks events and what they might mean. She waits for a reply, and when she gets the most impatient she goes along on a roadtrip with a couple of new friends to get a break from it all, and comes back with a new plan.

Gunnhild deals with disappointment in her academic life and a friend who seems to have it all even though the friend is seemingly doing less work. Gunnhild soon realizes that there is more to people than meets the eye.

Its autumn break this week. Still worried about her academic failures Gunnhild decides to stay in Sandane to catch up on work. As she gets closer and closer to a friend who also stays behind she starts to feel the trust and support of a best friendship, only to have it jeopardized by someone from her past.

After being the one needing help, Gunnhild finally does the helping as a friend goes through something she didn't expect. Through vulnerability and closeness a friendship is solidified and Gunnhild gives advice that she might need herself.

As the first ten weeks of high school are coming to a close, Gunnhild is faced with a dilemma that rocks with the core of who she believes she should be. Trying to solve this problem in all other ways, she finally has to make a decision about what kind of person, and friend, this new Gunnhild is.
