Red Ryder encounters bandits trying to hold up the stagecoach carrying the owner of the Devil's Hole newspaper, Libby Brooks and her brother Gerry. Red successfully drives off the attackers but becomes embroiled in further conflict, leading to a duel that nearly claims his life.
