Upin, Ipin and their friends live in Kampung Durian Runtuh. One day, they discover a mystical Malay dagger called the lone gibbon kris, which transports them to the Kingdom of Inderaloka. Along the way, they encounter classic characters from Malaysian and Malay folklore and must work together to restore the kingdom and defeat the evil king, Raja Bersiong, who is plotting its destruction.
