At Home with the Braithwaites

The Braithwaites are now multi-millionaires and David is excited to show off all their new wealth. But the women of the family are preoccupied: Sarah is seven months pregnant, while Charlotte’s being bullied at school.

The girls organize a surprise second honeymoon for their parents in the Lake District, but Alison is not thrilled by the idea. Alison reveals that she's been in love with Graham since she and David have been married.

It’s Charlotte’s birthday, and David’s forgotten. Graham turns up to see Alison, as his marriage is on the rocks. Tamsin persuades a reluctant Virginia that they should tell her parents they’re having a relationship.

The Braithwaites family seems fragmented for good, as Sarah and baby William move in with David. Charlotte has applied for the Braithwaites to appear on a TV quiz show ‘Family Challenge’ in an attempt to fix her family.

Alison and Graham are deeply in love. David, however, has hired a private detective to follow Alison – and his worst fears have been realized. Sarah is still living with David, but is horrified to learn David and Elaine are back together.

Graham has settled into domestic bliss at the mansion, but Charlotte can’t stand the sight of him and runs away. Alison and David are both distraught. Meanwhile at the Trust, Pauline has discovered that over a quarter of a million quid is missing.

Charlotte summons David and the girls up onto the moors – Graham’s fallen down a very deep mine shaft and needs help. At the Trust, Marion is horrified by Alison’s suspicion of Pauline.

Alison is struggling to deal with David’s news when Tamsin phones – Virginia has fallen into the river in York. Alison and David rush to Virginia’s hospital bedside.
