Fiona Kelly returns from London to re-open RAW, recruiting old head chef Geoff and his team. She faces issues with lease holder James and an unwelcome visitor, Kate. Shane's divorce finalizes, leading to a fight with Jay, who arrests him on RAW's opening night. Fiona also hires former banker Dylan as a new waiter.

Jojo and Shane's mother visits, causing tension. Shane struggles post-divorce, while Jojo grows closer to Dylan. Their mother reveals breast cancer but keeps it secret. Jojo confides in Dylan, and Fiona rejects her sister Kate.

A rainy night in Dublin means an empty restaurant, which is just one more headache for restaurant manager Tanya to cope with. However, it's anything but a quiet night when her husband Mal goes back to his old ways and Geoff threatens to leave unless he gets a raise.

Geoff tells his friend he's gay and introduces Pavel. Jojo's relationship faces trouble due to her boyfriend's daughter. Pavel leaves a bar with a stranger, regrets it, and tells Geoff, who reacts angrily. Fiona's relationship improves.

Geoff refuses to go public with his relationship with Pavel. Meanwhile, Jojo is furious with Bobby when she discovers that Rebecca has moved into their flat.

Bobby and Dylan find a dead man in their bar and hold a wake on opening night. Geoff tells his parents he's gay, befriends Pavel, and they enjoy the night. Jojo finds Shane hurt after refusing to fight Jay, who is arrested, and staff clean up.
